Quality: the name and fake of it.

Walk into any space any where in any part of the demography you live, hoarding after hoarding will greet you with a promise of quality in everything that can be sold. From tea to TV, everything. For the Indian market, the concepts of marketing are more Desi than what Kotler or for that matter any other marketing Guru can design and frame theories which the future managers can be fed with.

Every time a seller claims with confidence that the product is branded, he tries not only to push a product which is unheard of , he sells it to a costumer who unwillingly accepts the facts stated that its branded. Now who would challenge the facts stated? Who would whip out the so called encyclopedia from the pocket to google the brand name or for that matter the date of its establishment which they, with guts and glory,have been reflecting it to be of 19th century! Most important, who would want to be the butt of all those jokes and sarcasm which the seller would offer in return for all that smartness displayed?  Not us for sure.  

While there exists a very limited number of us who vouch for brands which are brands, there is a sizeable number which wants a brand, does not matter if it is a brand or not in the international markets! If the seller has said that its branded even if its sold on a dusty street with stink of a clogged underground drain and a pile of garbage at a stone's throw where the canines and the swines and the bovines alike search for their share of luck, it has to be genuine. It has to be of a quality! That is what the unorganised market has been doing- slicing off the profits from those who slog their brains off in the office, strategically set the targets for their sales force, pay millions to stars who seldom use the product they push and then, end up being a dummy product in the hands of those local manufacturers who callously glue the brand to their products which do not even confirm to the standards set. 

So what? 

Does it anyway matter? 

All that matters is  the fulfilment of the need at a price which the customer is ready to pay - the lowest for the best in brand. Teach and preach consumer awareness but when in the market, think about quality just by the assurance from the seller. 

Perseverance!

A Banyan tree grows so huge and strong- from where?
A building stands tall and majestic- from where?
A star player/actor/performer is made-from where?

Think of these questions when you think of success and prosperity happening in the blink of an eye. Those who have grown up to be adored today as a star, were once the same unknown as you and I are. Unknown to the world but well known to the people around us.

If we can realise the potential we have as an individual, then, it would not be late before you or your performance gets known to the world. For that however, you need to have patience in tons. As grows a tree from a seed unseen beneath the earth's surface or as comes up a building so beautiful on a surface which once was barren or a farm, so will you shine- someday.

All that needs to be done is to work unconditionally with absolute devotion. Do what you can, not that which you cannot. If you are good at singing, Sing. Do not dance. If you are good at speaking in any language, be an orator...

The World needs us. We need the World.

Keep doing what you are good at and you will be a brand. Do not wait to join a brand to become a brand. Create one from those which others rejected as failures. Prove them that they made a costly mistake

War...

This World of ours would have been as beautiful as it was when created but what the wars have done is beyond repair. And why were/are wars fought?

Thirst to acquire.

And what did these wars result in?

Achievement for a few, pride for a few, vengeance for a section of society which was attacked and hatred for those who were in no way a reason for the war to happen but suffered.

But why are wars fought today?

Business. Present terror, Sell Weapons.

When the regime of Kings has come to an end and the World has become more fractured with smaller fragments of the land mass identified as Continents and Countries and States and Villages and what not... the question is simple- what is left to fight for?

Instead of focusing on development of what is taken, snatched or gifted, why is there a greater desire to spray bullets, bomb habitats, harass women, kidnap and brain wash kids to either be a suicide bomber or a  soldier for evil cause?

What purpose do these weapons laden with advanced technology fulfill than a budget of the same magnitude spent on those sections of the society which craves for attention?

I think its time priorities are adjusted according to the urgency of the matter in real than that which is scripted (as if there exists no remedy)

Positive Thinker, a winner always.

For a positive thinker, every cloud has a silver lining, every end has a new beginning and every termination- an opportunity to start something new and more challenging. It,however, is more easier to speak than implement. Isn't it?

The answer is - NO!

It is easier. It is as easy as sleeping or gulping a glass of water. it is just a matter of conditioning our mind, rearranging our thoughts and sticking to it (as a habit).

Some simple steps:

1. Believe in your OWN self
2. Utter positive vibes to your OWN self- "Yes, I Can", "I am the best", "I am the strongest", the moment you wake up, the moment you feel down, the moment you feel uncertain and anytime you feel you are dwarfed. 
3. Never ever downgrade your abilities. No one is born a winner. Nor is anyone born a Super hero/ Super Woman. Your skills get upgraded only when your battery of confidence is absolutely charged. 
4. Keep smiling in every situation. If you can't,no problem. Fake a Smile till it becomes a habit. 
5. Do not bow (surrender)to any circumstance without a fight. 

Last but not the least:
 " Do not see anything as an obstacle. Instead treat it as an opportunity."

Every time I go, I go with many

Twice than me on a ride for company

Walk we do, we do talk and sing

Be an Inspiration, take risk!

There was a time when the world was perceived to be flat at the edges. The intellectuals then, declared that it would be precarious a journey by waters as one might fall into abyss!!!  Some people however, decided not to hear these prophecies and dared to venture into waters far and wide only to discover that there were no edges and that the rivers connected to newer locations where people resided.

Every step that we take is laden with uncertainty. Every idea is backed by a greater number of apprehensions instead of confidence. Every minute of life in fact, is, a step taken towards an unknown island where certain amount of uncertainty and impossibility exists till the time a boulder of confidence gets a push. While it is not easy to overcome fear, it is not even easy to live a life without giving any idea a trial. All that it needs is a courageous effort to maneuver the hurdle called fear and uncertainty which otherwise we coronate as ‘Risk’.

What we need to remember is that risk is nothing but the fear of failing even before we give it a try. Venturing into the unexplored zones is not easy but staying away from these zones which have a potential to spring positive surprises can prove to be a wrong decision later in life.

Hence, give your thoughts, which the world otherwise rejects as weird, a try, before shoving them into oblivion.

Remember this.  You and I would have been living in a world so past and ancient had it not been for the series of innovations and discoveries which made our lives comfortable and who knows what that so called crazy and ‘not a good idea’ certified thought of yours could do to change the equation of competition in the years to come.  Every millionaire today was an ordinary student like you, a drop out or a pauper on streets trying everything odd otherwise.
